Internship Programs


We offer several internship programs for energetic, enterprising and ambitious undergraduate and graduate students in our Washington, DC headquarters. We strive to ensure that our interns are offered a flexible, rewarding experience where they will be able to not only contribute to our success but learn more about the financial, operational and strategic aspects of the alternative energy industry.

Technology, Media and Operations

Interns in the Technology, Media and Operations division will focus on maintaining and developing our web and internal IT platforms. Web authoring skills are highly desired. Interns will have a high degree of flexibility and will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with exposure to a wide variety of systems and platforms.

Banking, Strategy and Advisory

Interns in the Banking, Strategy and Advisory division will have the opportunity to work on client-facing financial and strategic advisory mandates in addition to internal business development and research projects. Prospective interns should have a passion for the alternative energy space and show an interest in applying financial and strategic considerations to facilitate the growth and development of alternative energy companies.

Program Specifics

Interns may apply for Fall term, Spring term and Summer term positions. Internships may offer work-at-home opportunities and are structured to be flexible, particularly during Fall and Spring terms when weekly commitments range from 8 to 30 hours. Past interns have arranged for academic credit for their time at the firm. The firm is willing to sponsor international students. Applicants should note in their cover letter their desired internship term, division and visa status.
